    Kilted men?

I agree with one more rule: If you wear your kilt above your knees, you're a boy If you wear your kilt at your knees, you're a man If you wear your kilt below your knees, you're dreaming.

Butz Choquin - Whats your opinion?

I've only had one that I recently sold, a jumbo rusticated. It was a beautiful pipe but smoked very hot no matter what tobacco I was using, or how slow I was drawing. It also gurgled more than any other pipe I've owned, but both of these may just have been how I smoked. I tend to draw pretty...

    Kilted men?

Here I am in my family hunting tartan: MacDonald of the Isles. I love wearing these things, they're extremely comfortable, and I must say, the ladies (and by that I mean my wife) don't mind em' either.

List Your Other Hobbies / Interests

I enjoy woodworking, mostly turning. I make tampers, pens, kaleidoscopes, little things that I'll sell to stores for more supply money. I love to garden but am not very good at it for someone who was raised on a farm. I target shoot a fair bit, (long rifles and pistols). When I get bored...

Help Making a Tamper from Deer Antler

I've made several of these, and generally use a spent cartridge, something in the size of a .45 or 30-30. I attach them using epoxy, and I've always left them natural, but I'm sure any buffing wax would work well if you wanted it to have a bit of shine. Good luck!

    customer service?

Has anyone conducted any business with buylighters.com? My wife bought me a lighter from them that only worked for a week or so, and my e-mails and phone calls are not being answered. I was just curious if anyone had dealt with them before, and knew of a way to talk to someone.

Why so anal over your pipe?

I agree, there's a difference between taking care of something, and making it another job. I can't imagine enjoying a pipe if I knew I would have to go through so much after every smoke. Don't get me wrong, I take great care of my pipes, but I bought them to enjoy.

    For the Coffee Heads

Wow, its great to know I'm not the only person who's obsessive/compulsive with my coffee, or as I prefer to say, has good taste.

    1Q who wooda thunk

I'm not sure why stores do that, like there's not a myriad of tobaccos out there anyway, lets just give them each a few different names to really confuse you.

    Trouble Distinguishing Between Tobacco's

Yeah, I've found if I stick with a blend for a while, then switch it helps me distinguish the flavors.
