First Attempt At Carving A Pipe From Scratch

Father The Flame documentary
KC, that always bugged me, too. "Father the Flame"? Sure, we use flames to light pipes, but I don't see that as "fathering" anything. Maybe ancient lighthouse keepers were fathering flames. I put my flame out as soon as the tobacco is smouldering.- yaddy306

Dictionary.com, Merriam Webster online and Collins online all agree that latakia is pronounced with an emphasis on the "KEE" syllable. I think in Arabic this emphasis is less pronounced, but I haven't seen anywhere that emphasizes the "TACK" syllable. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/latakia...- yaddy306
