    If it is in a plug (a big block), just shave off a couple of flakes and chop them up or rub them out until they are a good size to stuff in your pipe. If it is already in flakes (slices like beef jerky), you can rub them out, cube them up or fold and stuff it into the pipe to smoke.

    +1 Those are my favorite. As long as you run a cleaner through them after each smoke, you can smoke 6 bowls a day in a Meer, no problem. Overnight rest is about as much as they need unless you smoke all six bowls back to back continuously. Meers are cool and dry and provide a "clean" flavor...
