    New Box Pass Thread

It's listed as "Out For Delivery" White Plains, NY. Chops should have it today!

    One of My New Canes!!!

You need a pair of oxblood boots to go with that cane. I have a pair of Lucchese 1883s that match it but you can't have those! They're my favorite boots!

    I Can't Take It Anymore!

Try the "Harry Method" demonstrated here. It's amazingly simple and works for a lot of new smokers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XHYPso7TXs

    Pipe Cleaned With Whiskey

You could use absinthe, but it's expensive and you really have to like anise!

    Pipe Cleaned With Whiskey

It's one reason I reccommend whiskey over everclear for ghosts and funny pre-carb taste. Everclear is the best for regular cleaning, but whiskey adds a little extra when you need it sometimes.

    Hatfield Pipe

Just PM Lonestar. He can still do one.

This gives new meaning to ghosting

    Seems legit...

    Taste?

Peterson pipes are pre-carbed. The pre-carb has a tendency to taste funny for the first several smokes. My solution is to smoke 7 or 8 bowls of 1-Q or another mild aromatic, then clean the pipe with pipe cleaners soaked with alcohol. Then start smoking whatever blend you want to use for that...

Introducing and Need Help to Find Good Tobaccos.

+1 If you get the chance, try his new one, Winter Solstice as well! Welcome to the forums and here are my reccommendations. Aromatics- Those mentioned above, 1-Q and Nat Sherman Riverside Whiskey Virginia- McClelland Black Shag, McClelland 35 Virginia Stave Aged and MacBaren HH Mature...

    Peterson Meerschaum 87s

That's a Peterson Meer alright. It's African Meerschaum, mined in Tanzania and shaped in a factory on the Isle of Man that made African Meers for GBD, Brigham, Comoys and others. They stopped making Petes there in the 70s but the factory continued until the 80s making the Manxman brand. Then the...

    Corncob churchwarden

Nope. Although as far as I know he's still living at the same place and he's appeared on facebook trying to sell pipes again. He also posts about 4 times a day on the Brass Goggles Steampunk forum. Here's his facebook account https://www.facebook.com/#!/arthur.slaughter.1?fref=ts

Pipe Coming in Mail, Help With Selecting a Tobacco?

+1 to what all these guys have said. There are some good options for you if you are looking for an inexpensive but good pipe. For corn cobs, you can get the classic MM Legend for a little over $5 Here: http://corncobpipe.com/index.php/legend-corncob-pipe.html For an inexpensive but solid briar...

    The After Midnight Club

Here's a drink recipe from little old me. "Blackberry Cosmo". 2oz Vodka, 1oz blackberry liqueur (I made my own, but you can buy a blackberry schnapps called Black Haus...no kidding that will do the trick). Splash of lime and 4oz cranberry juice. Yum!

    Corncob churchwarden

I have a well broken in Great Dane Egg. Time to hit up walker for that forever stem. My original plan was to make a warden when I bought it but when Uncle Arthur took everyone's money and bugged out, my stem went with him.

    My African Pete!

    A GBD Meerschaum or Not?

If you can get an African Meer, do it! My Peterson Meer is probably 60s or early 70s and I love it!
