I am a lucky guy in that my woman responds well to that very line of reasoning. She can go out and spend $500.00 on panties, perfume, face creams...etc and I say not a thing as I just think of it as her being a girl. She certainly doesn't give a frogs fat ass when I spend a few hundred bucks on pipes and tobacco because I am just being a man.

Im in the same boat as you ohin3. My lovely fiancee just treated herself to a 2012 Ford Mustang Club of America Edition. So I've got a free pass for the next, oh I don't know, 10 years or so?

Hey all, long time lurker - my wife and I just bought a house with a two-car garage forty feet from the house / any open windows, which means I get to indulge my pipe habit in the project space and around the garden (as long as it doesn't whiff towards any open windows).
And from years ago at The Event In The Desert With Fire For A Week Outside of Reno I was introduced to the joys of snuff tobacco and being able to get your nicotine without having to deal with a cigarette butt. Two tins of a delicious apricot snuff later and I was hunting every tobacco shop on the way home to the Puget Sound for "no no, the OLD-SCHOOL snuff, the nasal snuff. That stuff! No, I don't want a Columbian Dancing Dust bullet, I want to find the little tins of the English nasal snuff! Argh!"
Now I'm back at a nonsmoking workplace and as a result, I decided to go with the ol' snuff again to fix the cravings on the long workdays. So I'm thread necromancing this one just to ask the least simple question of all:
For those of you who have ordered from Mr. Snuff and other online places, when you ordered from Mr. Snuff, how long did it take? I made the mistake of paying for the 2nd option shipping, which, as most people who order online from Britain would know, doesn't make sure that it tracks all the way through. I keep checking the Royal Mail tracking number as if the "hey, it made it to customs, that's all we know" response is going to magically shift to new information.
Anyone have experience ordering from the UK? I bought my package around 18 Sept, it's 01 Oct now. I'll update with my order notes and if/when the package arrives...
My guess is that I'll be waiting till next week at the earliest. I'm just hoping that's not the case!

I am a tobacco lover, in all forms. I still have a cig first thing in the morning just to jump start my vitamin N. But throughout the day I use all forms. I do love a chew of Redman while doing yardwork its the best. I don't smoke in the house so I usually a have a dip in (Copenhagen LC or Kodiak wintergreen) I do use swedish snuss occasionally as well some of the flavors are pretty interesting.
And, of course I do love my pipes and the occasional cigar. Nasal snuff is one I have yet to try but have yet to get around to it. It's on the list for sure.

Almightymalachi, all of my orders have taken at least three weeks, if not slightly longer, to arrive.

the Vikings are invading! I've been sampling them all evening and I really like the Dark and Peach. The Viking Spear is the best mint snuff I've tried! It isn't mentholated but has actual spearmint and a dark snuff which smells amazing!

shows you how little I know about tobacco and tobacco products, I turn 50 years old and I've never even heard of snuff until I was watching a pipe tobacco video on youtube and this UK company that makes cigaretts and snuff had a promotional video. I couldnt believe my eyes that someone would snort tobacco dust. So i'm not exactly sure what this does to a person. Is it a nic hit or does it somehow "taste" or what does it do?

Zonomo, snuff is meant to be breathed gently into the lower part of the nostril right along the nasal lining. Snuffs are powdered tobacco flavored with scented oils, and they can be anything from spearmint to menthol to orange and cherry and coffee and bourbon and who knows what else. Snuff taken correctly is actually very handy in clearing out clogged sinuses, has a very pleasant tingling sensation, and generates a very pleasant smell for you to personally enjoy for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. Some nicotine is absorbed through the membranes in the nasal lining but nothing like a cigarette. It is a most pleasant experience, I usually use snuff a few times a day.

For opening the sinuses, I suggest a mentholated snuff like Pöschl Ozona Alpina. A little bit just inside the nostrils will open your head and make you feel better in seconds. The nicotine acts as a constrictor on the vessels and the menthol opens you up much the same way Vicks Vapo-Rub does. Works wonders on clogged sinuses. I will warn that you do not want to sniff snuff into your sinuses. It's painful when you are well and agonizing if your sinus is inflamed.
I like the Pöschl SG Cola in my nose while drinking a Coke. Great sensation. Pöschl Ozona Anis has an absinthe-like aroma and the Pöschl SG Apricot is nice, too. Those come in the 7g boxes and I will take a sniff direct from the box!
Viking is made by Sam Gawith and is a little moister than some others. Blonde and Dark are natural tobacco with no other flavorings. Blonde has a bit of a nic kick, but Dark is smoky and mellow. The peach and Spear are both made with the dark tobacco and natural flavors. Very pleasant. The 25g tins of Viking will last a LONG time.
I get mine at Mr. Snuff https://mistersnuff.com/

I got my hands on some Latakia snuff from a buddy in Switzerland here not too long ago. That shit is the real deal right there. Youve never experienced latakia until youve ground it into dust and shoved it up your nose. Man is it awesome!

No problem. Snuff is very cheap and you can several good ones online if you ever care to try some. Like Baron, Mr. Snuff is the only vendor I go through. Even with international shipping their speed is lightning quick and their selection is massive. Its something that every tobacco lover should try at least once.

It's easy to blow your brains out with dry snuff. Toque does that to me. I do kind of the same thing, I inhale before I sniff and then just a short sniff into the front of my nose. Sort if like when you're trying not to let a snot bubble come out of your nose. Kind of a gross comparison, but an accurate one.

Old Mill Artisan Snuff certainly has an extensive lineup. I'm amazed that the owner thinks there is a large enough demand for dry snuff to justify investing the time and money needed for such an enterprise considering how crowded with product the market already is.
