    This may be the case but everywhere has their own packaging requirements and other regulations. SG may have determined that with the massive increase in prices they couldn’t sell enough to to justify the compliance costs.

    I’m aware of that but only the G&H products are handled by the new distributor. SG products are still under the old distributor. I don’t doubt that SG will change over whenever the contract allows. G&H labeled products only have been confirmed by the Gawiths.

    Variation would affect cigars more because you are worried about construction and temperature and humidity variations can interfere with that over repeated cycles due to expansion and contraction.
