    Show Me Your Plug Cutters

This is what I currently use. It works great for plugs that are cut into strips like G&H Dark Plug but not as well for something wider like the SG plugs. It is more difficult to cut those into flakes of semi uniform thickness.

    They don’t have the plugs.

Weird I just got a mailing list email from Daniel about a 10% discount until November 3rd. There must have been some kind of miscommunication here. Try here again for the discount. Maybe just fill out the order form if you can.

    Jim's Latest Tobacco Haul.

Occasionally you won’t get any updates until it’s about at your door.

    Jim's Latest Tobacco Haul.

Jim, did you notice that there are more buying options at Estervals for a few of the HU blends? Directors cut is one of them. Now you can buy it in a 250g or 1000g bag. This is very new, I haven’t send them before.

What were you trying to ask Daniel at Synjeco? One thing I was trying when I ordered was to optimize my order for shipping costs. He did help me out but I don’t know if would always do that for someone. That’s one thing I like about Esterval’s, it’s all automated and you can see the shipping...

Yes it’s the same thing only with longer flakes.

I just remembered that there is a Czech website that has some of them. I emailed them last year and they said they’d ship to the US. I emailed them again to ask if I’d get a discount since I wouldn’t have to pay VAT. They never got back to me so I didn’t pursue it. They also have...

That’s for that info. I’ve been thinking about another order for a long time.

None that ship to the US that I’m aware of.

    SG Lakeland Dark

It’s still in production. I love it too. I want to stock up on it as well. Bad Nun from Synjeco is very similar but harder in some ways to get. Dark Flake/Plug from G&H hits some of the same notes.

    Jim's Latest Tobacco Haul.

Congrats Jim. This opportunity at Estervals for US residents really is amazing. Everyone should check it out. There’s no telling how long it’ll last. It’s a great chance to pick up HU Tobacco as well as some other gems for cheap which is really fantastic.

You have to sign in with an account that shows you’re in the US to see some products and the discount. Create an account then change the currency to USD as well.

Samuel Gawith's Pure Louisiana Perique - Any mixing tips?

I don’t think so, that farm supplies American spirit exclusively. Mark Ryan processes all the perique used in pipe tobacco.

    Warped/C&D Blend - The Haunting

Which one did you have? Dominican Glory Maduro is supposed to be 10x better than Dominican Glory. The former is a Flake.

Awesome! This looks like exactly what I need.

    McLelland Replacement

Thanks for the HU Anniversary suggestion. I’m making my way through a few more HU blends, Mellow Mallard and Veermaster before I make another order with Estervals. I’ll add the Anniversary to the next order.

    McLelland Replacement

I’m sure you can save up $40-$45 and get one without too much trouble. If that’s all it take to die a happy man, I’d say it cheap indeed!
