I second Hoosier's comment about the OGS. Fresh it is only so-so to my tastes, but the 6 year old batch I had was noticeably sweeter and had what I thought was a minor tang of perique that I did not notice when it was fresh- davidintexas

Favorite Tobacco?
Wilke #111 is an oriental blend with some burley. This is a well balanced blend that for me is my favorite everyday-all day smoke, if I had to choose just one. Life Affirming Pipe Experience And Is Mixture 79 So Bad?
It's really not that bad. In fact, I found it fairly tasty. Don't know about the old production but I would imagine if the old timers from back then were around now and giving TR reviews this blend would have a higher rating than it does- davidintexas

GH's Dark Plug/Flake vs. Revor Plug
I just smoked a bowl of Revor Plug yesterday and it was full and satisfying, very good. It reminded me very much of Dark Flake from GH.
