How or Why Did You Start Smoking a Pipe?
My Grandda smoked a pipe and I bought him a small meer for Christmas one year. After he passed my Nana gave me the pipe back to remember him. One day on a whim I bought some Middleton Cherry and tried smoking the tiny meer..... Burnt the hell out of my tongue something fierce but never gave up...- blueeyedogre

Street Smarts Is A Good Thing!
My buddy's little boy was learning to talk and his favorite toy was a small toy truck. Well he would constantly refer to it as his "Uck", so me being the stand-up uncle type would say "FFFF" then hold up the toy and he would say "Uck"...... Would I Be Right To Assume This Is A Meer?
It's definitely a meer and while you can wet sand it down to remove any scratches make sure that you inspect the pipe very carefully. Darn Fish Anyway
I'm often puffing away in a shortened falcon when fishing for giant pike up north here. Nice small bowls and very light for clenching. It's around the campfire at nights I pull out a larger pipe for contemplation and inner reflection...... oh, and rum drinking too.- blueeyedogre

I saw a TV news spot about that on the news one night...... I guess the pipes were made by a local pottery factory as inexpensively as possible and to call them pipes would say they were pipe shaped and far from a smokeing product. Best makers under $120.
Ok, right up front I will say I don't have any pipes from these makers so I can't speak to quality..... Morgan Pipes has a bargain line called the "bones" line. Chris Askwith, who is quite highly regarded, offer a bargain line as well. I'm sure with a little looking you can find a few more too.- blueeyedogre
