    For a job like this would you recommend going through the 1,2,3,4 process or just the 3 and 4? I've never worked with vulcanite so I don't know how soft it is.

    Aloha, I finally got my first Peterson pipe. It's a great smoker, but the stem has somewhat sharp edges making it uncomfortable on the corners of the my lips to clench. Does anyone have a good remedy to this?

    I would assume a light cake will fill any imperfections. Maybe just wipe the inside of the chamber with a paper towel to keep the cake even.

    English “problems”

    At least you can enjoy an English blend (nuances or not). Whenever I try any blend with a decent amount of Latakia my mouth gets fried to a char no matter how slow I smoke it. I can only smoke blends that use Latakia as a very light condiment.

    That’s a great looking pipe. That makes sense about the wax coloring. Im new to the meerschaum world, but the one I have is one of my best smokers atm.
