    Is it Really Block Meerschaum?

Well I just want to know why you didn't ask the forum right when you purchased it back in the 60's, we had some great meerschaum experts with us back then @meercuriosity, @meercat, @MrMeer and so many I can't even recall now...

    My Churchwarden Pipe Rack

There is something very aesthetically pleasing about the way the pipes go up and down, it's almost musical, in an ooompah kind of way.

The Right Pipe for Smoking Licorice Tobacco

I have been smoking brown flake w/ liquorice, and it is a definite favourite, although the liquorice flavour in that one is fairly elusive...the last bowl I had was one 'punch in the face' puff of fennel seeds, and otherwise just nice sweet baccy.

    Just Kinda Funny.

I think the whiskey is making the story a little confusing to follow.

    Is This Normal?

Flake that is stuffed, or at least not too rubbed out does smoke slow...but it is also quite a lot of tobacco, because of the density. If you smoked 2 bowls of ribbon, or 3 bowls of shag in the same time frame maybe it would all be about the same weight as one bowl of stuffed/broken flake. I am...

Instant Reaction To Peterson’s Early Morning Pipe

I kept a spreadsheet for the first 200ish blends I tried, not with lengthy notes, but just to help me figure out what I liked, with common components etc. It seems a bit slow, but it took me 17 blends to find out I have a reaction to perique...

    Sell Me On Clay Pipes

Just get one. They are great for encouraging slow cadence, when you can hold a clay and not burn your fingers you know you are smoking slow! you can clean them like any pipe...or like any pottery.

    Glue Turning Orange?

I think I have noticed something similar on 10+ cobs over the years, and once that little 'gap' at the bottom fills up with cake, and the whole bottom rounds out then it is no longer noticeable.

    Glue Turning Orange?

From here it just looks like the cut end of the cob stem...
