    If You Had To Retire

I'm not even close to retirement, but we choose to be a single income family so my wife can stay at home and raise our girls. I budget for my purchases of anything extra, tobacco included. It has meant that I don't impulse buy when I can help it, and that I miss some great sales because that...

Which Bourbon For A Brit Newbie?

I'm fond of all bourbons! I reach for different ones on different occasions. Jim Beam is a great mixing bourbon, a bourbon and coke or an old fashioned, but it is also quite sipable. Buffalo Trace is great for sipping and has a great full taste. Four Roses is another that I will take straight...

Usually, The Oldest Thing In The Room: Man Jewelry

Wedding ring only here. I have a strange thing about watches or really anything touching my wrist. If a shirt sleeve is too tight around my wrist its a no go. Its just one of my quarks.

    Black Ash

Not doing anything wrong. There will always be ash, and some dottle (unburnt leaves). I suspect that you may be finding a little of both. I don't worry about it. Just smoke away and enjoy.
