Neal Stephenson.
I read Cryptonomicon, partly because of great reviews at the time, partly because it has a Perl program in it (and I was doing a lot of Perl at the time). It took me a few tries to get started. The Padron was part of a very generous trade--especially generous on the part of Mr. pantsBoots! I'm thankful that I could at least somewhat keep up! But even though maduros aren't my preference (over naturals), I'll never turn down a Padron of either sort: they're both very tasty.- JoeW

I'm glad that you enjoyed it (and nice scenery)! I'm afraid that I'm not refined enough (yet) to get the flavor from the maduros: the naturals have a little more flavor kick to me. I will say, though, that these are my favorite of all the maduros I've had.- JoeW
