What Would You Add to My "Must Try" List?

I can't believe the Black Bloods haven't come out in droves on this thread. So, do yourself a favor and try Hearth & Home Black House. I like it okay, but it has a pretty massive following on here. My personal faves that I haven't seen yet is G.L. Pease Westminster, love it, and what Jud said...

Attn: Programmers - Open position at Smokingpipes.com/Laudisi

As a resident of SC, what they are offering isn't out of line. The cost of living here is quite a bit lower than most places. I do graphic design and my salary isn't near what it would be in a larger market. Plus considering that a pipe shop even offers a health plan? If I were a programmr as...

    Flavor Missing???

+1 to what Jud said. It is a trade off. A "good" room note comes from aromatics, but almost all of them lack flavor. It's just the way it is. Give the tobaccos others have mentioned a shot, or forget about room note and just smoke what you like. It's what I had to do.

One other thing. If you opened the image up, then successfully rotated it, you need to select "save as" and rename the image and save it someplace you can find it. Try that first. If that doesn't work, start looking for some free image manipulation software.

    Early Bird Club

Morning all. 6:40 here, and about to hop in the shower and get ready for work. My vehicle has been having cold starting issues, so I'll be fighting with it in about an hour. Everyone have a good day!

    1st experience with meerschaum

Wipe the bowl out with a paper towel immediately after smoking. Do it every time and that will help prevent a cake build up.

    Movie Reviews (NO SPOILERS!)

If anybody is wondering about the first Expendables movie; awesome action sequences, terrible dialogue. I'm still on the fence about seeing the second film for this reason. Blood Creek was a pretty good horror romp. Michael Fassbender is awesome, and has way to small a part in this film. The...

    Newbie with question

What the others have said, but also consider the tobacco you're smoking. Is it a fairly wet aromatic? If so, lay a bowlful out on some paper towels to dry for an hour or two before you smoke. Pinch it before you smoke it, and if it clumps, then it is still a bit wet. Let it dry some more...

    How Many Names For 1Q?

The Tobacco Merchant in Columbia, SC calls it "Merchant's Choice". Just thought I'd pass it along.

    Free sample cigar!

I AM that desperate, so count me in. Besides, it's always nice to step away from the pipe, at least for a few minutes.
