Half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Going to work now.
Finishing up this bowl of Peter Stokkebye Natural Dutch Cavendish in my little bent mm pony express cob with a forever stem. It’s kind’ve funny to have a $5 pipe with a $20 stem but this thing is great for short smokes. I’m enjoying this blend quite a bit. I got an ounce of it in my last order and I think I’ll be picking up more. It reminds me a bit of Amphora Original, which I also like.

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth light brown circa post-1932-40s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Early start at work precluded a morning smoke. I don't love it when that happens. The only legit reason for early rising is to watch the English Premier League. This evening I had PS Luxury Navy Flake and a goodnight smoke of GL Pease Quiet Nights.
Now smoking first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in an undated straight smooth brown Crosby Saint Andrews (Comoy’s ?) “Merchant Service-like Bing” with a silverish band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Had my first crack at cube cutting a Flake ( Uni Flake ) - Holy smokes! What a difference. Gravity filled with a pipe cleaner in place makes for a near perfect pack, and couldn't believe how easy the burn was, will be doing this from now on.
