In my opinion, they are the best option. I like the Legend model, but they're all good.
MM Cobs smoke as well as almost anything. I’m a fan of the morgan natural and the legend 5th avenue shapes, as well as their higher end charlestowne cobbler.
Charles Towne Cobbler owes a very unique stem that makes it stand apart from regular MM Cobs!!

Love them all but their reverse calabash models are my favorite.
Yeah, more than stand out, the stem is made of acrylic rather than the garbage plastic the cheaper cobs have. It also has a hardwood plug in the bottom of the bowl.Charles Towne Cobbler owes a very unique stem that makes it stand apart from regular MM Cobs!!

The cheap ones smoke fine too, its just a little more durable and a cooler shape.

Huck Finns are a great MM for shorter smokes when trying new blends
somewhat actually. Some are fine in one others just are sort of flat.
I love cobs for the purpose they serve for me. The "grab it, throw it in a pocket, stuff it, light the bugger and char the rim, drop it, bump it, superman puff it, don't give a damn" all purpose pipe!
I like the Country Gentleman as well. Big pipe, and feels good in the hand.
Yes you are right.. Huck Finns serve the purpose of 10-12 min smoke and are good cobs too to begin with.. thank you for recommending!

Yes cobs do seems to be cheap in States but here in India after all the importing and custom duties they are costing almost equivalent to an average quality made briar pipe!
Cobs can just never be outta shelves of a contemplative smoker. Hoping it will serve me a fair justice.
Though I'm not expecting cobs to last long.. But for now, they can refine my skills of pipe smoking before getting with high end pipes.

Tobacco blends taste the same to me regardless of which pipe I smoke it in.
A bit small for me.
They can last for decades if you take care of them. Some of mine are over 10 years old.
Yes chasingembers .. right enough.. if properly cared cobs can lasts long beyond one's imagination. And still hold good sustainability for a quality smoke!
