I have a number of Estate Stanwells but these two Regd nros, 29 and 61 are probably best smokers among them,yes agreed both look a bit boring but nonetheless

New here, and hope someone can help solve a question:

I just bought this nice Stanwell estate and really love it. I know it’s the 126 by Tom Eltang, but all it has is a simple Stanwell stamped at the bottom. All Stanwells I’ve seen had the series stamped and of course the number. Does anyone know an explanation?

A reg-era 81 with an unusual stem (it's supposed to be a saddle?), maybe a replacement. I love the blast, and it's a ridiculously good smoker.
