Doing my teenage years in Austin during the ‘70s I was into all of those. Everything coming out of Compass Point was top notch. Robert Palmer with Dony Wynn hit it best for me.

Chris & Tina still have a place there.

Listening to some Talking Heads ~ The Name of This Band is Talking Heads.
Really wish Adrian Belew had done more work with Talking Heads. Zappa, Bowie, Byrne and then 80's King Crimson. He was on a roll.

Stuck at work with some Tool ~ Lateralus.
Currently listening to Faith No More ~ Angel Dust
Great choices.
I lean towards the heavy end of the musical spectrum, but currently I've been bouncing between "Rivers of Nihil-Where Owls Know My Name" and "Sturgill Simpson-A Sailor's Guide to Earth"

This is a good one.
I was listening to Tomahawk earlier today... God Hates A Coward Mike Patton is a great frontman/singer, but Duane Denison is the man.

I walk around inside the questions of my day

I navigate the inner reaches of my disarray

I pass the altars where fools and thieves hold sway

I wait for night to come and lift this dread away

Now it is 1984

Knock-knock at your front door

It's the suede/denim secret police

They have come for your uncool niece

Johnny Mercer, the great songwriter, was born today, November 18, 1909.

Here's one of his great hits, "One For My Baby" sung by Frank Sinatra, live at Royal Festival Hall, 1962.
