I'll always buy C&D blends.

They have so much variety and outstanding blends.
Even if I did get a moldy tin I know that they would take care of the problem.

So no worries on my part.

I buy CD in bulk, which is then crammed into mason jars for storage. As such, I have no trouble with buying the burley-based and english blends that come from the CD. As a Canadian, I understand the issue of non-feasible returns raised above, but bulk tobacco is a way to mitigate the mold issue. Yes, it is a bit more hands-on and labour intensive, but it is worth it for me. Properly inspected and stored in mason jars, tobacco will last a long, long time.

I'm with Jackswilling:
"Funny, I bought 21 tins of Temple Bar. I am resigned to my fate. As A.E.N. said when I was a child, "What, Me Worry?"
I've got 5 tins of Bijou simmering and several C&D sets of this and that plus quite a few GLPs back... GLP is at least a demi-god in my pipe tobacco pantheon and I see the quality and TLC put into all these products and I'm just fine and dandy with it all. Live long and prosper C&D!

C&D make almost all of my favorite blends....
Yes, when I list my current tobaccos, C&D are represented most prominently...

Burley and English blends, but C&D have so much quality tobacco to try.

C&D is one of the great pipe tobacco manufacturing companies in the nation. I have supported them for a very long time, back when the late Craig Tarler and his wife, Patty, had just moved to North Carolina.
I love their tobaccos and will not let some sort of mold problem stop me from purchasing their blends, which I love.
In fact, the blend that went moldy on me was replaced pronto. No problem. C&D is a great company and I hope they long prosper.

I don't know about "support" but C&D have many great blends that I buy. The ones with the mold issues in the past are not ones that I regularly purchase but I would be less inclined to buy until there was some certainty that it was resolved. My last few orders have been C&D bulk Va/Pers that are new to me, great blends, great company
