So far for Virginias and Vapers
This Castello KK Pot has been my best smoker. Ive only had it for almost a month so I don’t know if this is a fair assessment but I can only assume going forward it will continue to perform the same!

My new bones is quickly becoming my favorite/go to smoker and I’m only 6 or so bowls in but I love the character it’s taking on and the draw is consistently awesome and easygoing

Minus my first pipe, a basket pipe, and two older meerschaums, all of my pipes are good smokers. If I had to pick one, I would say that my Sparky's Pipes - Prince of Darkness Poker is probably my best. It's an Ozzy Osbourne/ Black Sabbath inspired pipe I designed and had commissioned.

A Michael Parks Rhodesian. It really is an amazing pipe. Never gurgles, ever.

Boy, I have sure seen some beautiful pipes on this thread.

I have about 25 pipes and a few of them are very good looking, too. But, as embarrassing as it is, if I honestly answer as to which is the best smoking pipe, it is probably my "homeliest" pipe.

About 30 years ago I sorta/kinda started smoking pipes. Largely to use when I did Civil War reenacting. During this period I got one of those "kits" that consist of a square block of briar with holes in it. I used to sit with my pocket knife and just whittle away bits and pieces and ended up with this chunk. It doesn't look good but it smokes like a dream.

I feel like the boy who just introduced his ugly girlfriend to his family.......

My best smoker is this Dublin by Northern Briars. Just wonderful. I have a Castello 55 Old Antiquary and Eldritch Reading Pipe that give it competition, though.

MM Zenon. It always gives a great smoke no matter how lazily I pack and light.

I am partial to my Blue Alligator 606B... But, all my Savinellis' smoke great. I have to say, the Dry System 620 Rustic was not my favorite pipe, I guess more from the look of it, but it smokes great every single time with one light.

Top is a BST 'virgin', bottom is my 'bank-fishing' pipe - a Rathbone that is fairly new but looks to be Algerian briar. If you asked me what my 'favorite' pipes are I would pick a couple of other BST's. They probably smoke as well, but this one provides something magical.
