Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. I hated it for the first week or so because it was something I wasn't familiar with. After 2 weeks I am warming up to it. It is very quick and zero problems so far.
Actually about 90% of my buying is done through them. If I found out that's what they are doing I would never order from them again though. I would hope it was a software glitch although it took them four days to find out. Usually they ship out quickly.
Well even though I ordered within one minute or so of being notified of it in stock and confirmation of my order I just received a email today saying me my order was cancelled. Letter stated they ran out and asked if I would like a refund. Don't know what to think of that.
Gorilla is fantastic stuff but don't get any on your hands and start to dry as it won't come off with anything, I mean anything. It has to wear off with new skin growth. Makes your hands look dirty for several days. I know..
My only online dealer when looking for a pipe so far. I need to see what I'm getting.
Some stores show only one picture and some stores on the net don't even show the actual pipe you will be getting.
Your guess is as good as mine. I was just thinking ivory cracks from just drying out, subjecting it to heat may not work too well. A search on google brings a number of ivory pipes up though.
Is the upper part of your briar bowl wet? Wood is a bit more porous too, ya think? The key words are, I said I think this would happen, not that it will.
Ivory IS legal to own and bring into the U.S. from legally hunted elephants. My nephew is a taxidermist and recently did a beautiful full mount elephant for a client.
Back to the original topic, I would think the ivory would dry out and crack if smoked much. I know when used for handgun grips...
