    Hearth and Home Distinguished Penguin

I've smoked around 5 bowls of it and between the 40-45 degrees and rain it is well worth it. Tastes very suitable for the weather here

    I'm Back

Thanks y'all. It has been a rough time but I made it through. Now instead of hearing sirens and traffic all day long I hear the occasional vehicle and birds. I can't wait until this balmy weather passes and it warms up again.

    Hearth and Home Distinguished Penguin

I picked up an 8 ounce tin of it and decided to give it a try. After getting it in the mail yesterday and opening it up a good camp-fire smokey aroma greeted me right away. My first thought was this is going to be good. It was dried perfectly in the tin. I proceeded to pack a bowl and gave it a...

    The Turn Signal Lament

Here in SC it happens all the time. Either not using turn signals no headlights when required late turn signals (irks me to hell) tailgaters and overall stupidity on the roads at times. If it weren't for the need to go out to get the stuff we need or to the ham club meeting or cert meetings...

Pairing After Dinner Bowls With The Dinner

Chow chow is like a pickle relish but it has a sweet yet sour taste to it. It's hard to really describe the taste.

Pairing After Dinner Bowls With The Dinner

I just finished having hot dogs with bbq sauce and chow chow on it and am enjoying a bowl of H&H Marble Kake and the tobacco tastes even better after eating the chow chow bbq mix. Has anyone ever had that dinner tobacco moment?

    H&H Marble Kake

I'm going to be getting some more for the cellar. I noticed that the more it airs out the more the smell and taste changes. Right now with me just cleaning my pipe I'm going to try it in my cob and see what difference the taste is.

    H&H Marble Kake

I'm revisiting this after around 5 hrs of it being open and the more vinagary ketchup smell is coming through with the raisin smell. It's one I'm definitely keeping in my rotation.

    H&H Marble Kake

I know I haven't been on in a while but I'm back. I bought some H&H Marble Kake. When I opened the tin it had a sweet, smokey, raisin smell to it. I knew that it was gonna be good once I found a good pack/cadence to it. The first bowl I cubed and packed somewhat loosely with a little loose...
