    Barling Block Meerschaum

Is that totally meerschaum or meerschaum lined? It looks like briar.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

    Then of course apology accepted.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

By the way I have a copy of Pipes, Artisan and Trademarks by Jose Manuel Lopes and also 'Who Made that Pipe' by Wilczak and Colwell (it's actually Tom Colwell's personal copy) as well as numerous catalogues dating back to 1900 and loads of advertisements etc so if anyone has a pipe they can't...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

sablebush I'm afraid I misled you with my earlier post in describing the mouthpiece I got it mixed up with another pipe I have. OK the end of the mouthpiece is just the normal slit and the mouthpiece is a normal tenon not a screwfit.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

sablebrush I'll photograph it tomorrow it is not a normal screw tenon. If I can find out how to upload a photo on here.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

foolwiththefez well that's a great shame but you are entitled to place your business with whomever you want. Good luck with all your future acquisitions.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

sablebrush, good questions. The orifice is a hole, which is indicative of an early date. The one thing which is very strange and unusual is the way the mouthpiece is attached to the stem. It's a screw thread but very fine . I'll have to take a photo of it, if I can find a way to post a...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

Cosmic Well thank you for welcoming me to the forums but I joined in 2010. As for the Ukraine well when I was there it was fantastic, great country and great people. Anyway thanks again for trying to help me out with identification. By the way never heard of this language 'American' I'm using...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

Fitzy because as I explained I did not know how to in the first post. I would gladly do that if I knew how. If someone didn't like me doing what I did then perhaps a little advice on how to do it instead of making a load of offensive comments.

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

"The truth will out! Again, you could grow a pair and "man up " to who you are and what you've done' I must admit I am totally baffled by these remarks. What on earth do you mean 'who I am and what I've done? What truth are you talking about I am looking for information on a pipe I own, can...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

What on earth does this mean 'When you slide in here sideways, posing as one thing but being another,'. Can you please show me where I have 'posed' as anyone apart from a chap who needed help?
  14. O

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

jpmcwjr why do you keep banging on? I have told you several times not to bother replying as you have nothing of any worth to convey, I mean a chap who doesn't know the meaning of 'bruyere' for goodness sake. What chicanery you are referring to I have no idea. I have been nothing but pleasant...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

Stanlaurel, I was referring to the request for help, clearly a great many people on here seem to think that asking for help in identifying the maker of a pipe is something unholy. You clearly have no intention of helping in any way so please don't trouble yourself any more - I'm sure I will...
  16. O

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

Cosmic. You and me both. I have extensive archives of my own with thousands of makers and not a thing. Tried the internet, zilch. It's a very well made pipe and is far too good to be a second or a bucket pipe. I'm thinking French or perhaps Dutch. It's the logo that is baffling as well - a...

    CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS PIPE?

Davet you seem to be reading too much into this simple request for assistance with identifying the maker of a pipe I own. I don't need to advertise in this manner thanks for your concern, but I must admit to being completely baffled by the response to a request for help. Please consider the...
