Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Instead of a featured interview tonight, the show will be co-hosted by Shane Ireland. Shane is the Pipe Manager, and Website Manager for SmokingPipes.com. Brian and Shane will talk about the Danish-American esthetic of pipe design as well as some really cool new pipe offerings from Smokingpipes and an advance on the Black Friday deals. We have special Thanksgiving music from Composer and pipe smoker, Dan Locklair, and a Thanksgiving message from us. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.

We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

  • For me, the absolute high point of the show was Dan Locklair’s “America” Symphony movement. Stunningly beautiful!
The discussion with Shane was so informative and enlightening, thanks.
What a lovely way to end the show, a terrific gesture and moving letter from listener Steve, and your truly touching addition of “Happy Together.”
My deepest wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to you, Kevin and your families, and to all my friends, acquaintances and members of our pipe smoking fellowship,
    Dino

  • Fairly good show. Missed the pipe parts segment. Shame you guys couldn’t give us a description of a Danish-American pipe other than you know one when you see one. The rest of the show turned into a Smokingpipes.com commercial. I’ve always liked the “Happy Trails” theme at the end of the show but the song you chose for this show was quite appropriate.

  • Just listened to tonights episode. I sat here crying as you read my letter and play my song. Thanks for the memories as bob hope used to say. Keep up the good work.
