I'm not judging here, but rather curious how others perceive death.

Do you really believe that a box or urn with your ashes in it will enable your consciousness, or soul, or whatever, to watch anything that happens after you pass?

Not in the literal sense. After all, it is just ashes in a box. Dead animals don't watch me from my grill.

It's more of a romantic concept. For others, it may be more humorous; like "my dad is in the closet." However, we do live on in thoughts and words, as well as in pictures and written word or in family recipes or traditions passed down and carried on.

That's enough for me. I have lots of connections to people and people have a lot of connections to me. I don't hate them nor do I loathe people. I am fine with traditions and traditions seem to work for me.

So no cremation. Life is beautiful and my time on earth has been a joy.

I have no real regrets and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Well, except for that one time....

I know that I will be missed by the people who love me. They prefer I am buried so buried I will be.
