I've got about 10 years' worth at my current smoking pace. Ideally I'd like to stock myself up to age 100 over time (what can I say I'm an optimist). For those of us who live in high-tax jurisdictions I don't think you can go wrong buying as much as you can afford today. As it is I'm seeing local shops selling 2022 Cringle for $75 a tin which suggests we will become Australia before we know it, and that any money wasted on tins I don't smoke will pay for themselves in future tax savings many times over.
