Doesn't make any difference to me. Don't take extra time either way.
In this day and age it’s all about them, people are very self centered and serving. Everyone is under the illusion they are internet famous and/or thinks they are a Kardashian. “They can wait, don’t they know it’s Meeeee????” types, see it everywhere any more. There is no doubt backing in is a new fad. The problem is the folks who can't maneuver their vehicles and expect others to wait while they figure it out. I just think it's something connected to their politics.
^ 1+ Or you have to push the frozen dead hulk back far enough so whoever comes to jump the battery can reach it with the cables, and by that time your hands are frozen, have no feeling, and it's real fun to try and get those clamps on - especially the ones that have posts that are 5/16" bolts with tiny little rims that you have to get the clamps on just right or they pop off.Battery dies and you need a boost.
Public boat launches - guy that's never backed a trailer. Barrel O Laughs. Unless your behind them waiting to launch or retrieve. There is no doubt backing in is a new fad. First world problem for sure...
Only one facing in is the truck far down in the photo and I said MOST not all. No idea what the double spot method is but any cars not parked between the lines are towed. So, why are the cars behind those in the front appear to be parked face in? Uh, hmm. Could it be because the cars that look to be backed in arrived first and used the double spot method?
Yeah, no kidding."You don't park your car right!"
Seriously, Karens of the world unite.
THIS ^^^^^I am one of those genius who always park back in. Advantage of backing in:
1) Yes, fast get out. It might take time to reverse in, but it's the same, when people park nose in it'll take time to reverse out.
2) Can get in and get out easily if the road is narrow.
3) If there's anything happen to your car, mechanic or tol trucks are easier to access to your car, if your car is front engine.
4) U can have a clearer view of surrounding your car before you get out of your car.
5) The American Automobile Association (AAA) recommends all drivers back into parking spaces whenever possible.
Okay. Each spot here has a packing block so no chance of that.I think "double spot" is a term for a "pull through" parking situation.
Yes, but your backing into a space surrounded at worst by 3 parked, unmoving vehicles. When backing out of a space there are people and cars moving in both directions behind you, making it more likely to hit something.Doesn't one back up when they back in or am I just not understanding automobile?
