Yeah you can light everything which produce fire :D
I m thinking of wishing of Santa some nice lighter in a normal price range.

I bought a vintage dupont and love it for cigs. Which I will quit at some point or reduce drastically:D

I m looking forward if you have advice wich brand produces nice pipe lighters. Range 100 to max 200 dollar.

My old brass Zippo with pipe insert would not be considered luxurious, but it works every time. Cheap too!
Yes, I realize it's not a luxury lighter but being someone who prizes reliability and functionality, my old brass Zippo with a pipe insert is like a trusted friend. Works everytime, except of course when I need to refill with fluid or the flint runs out.

ST Dupont for the look and feel.
Vintage Dunhill for the nostalgia.
Old Boy for sitting in your easy chair indoors.
Zippo for the all-around, go anywhere, light anywhere.

My Zippos get the most use, maybe 10 to 1. I acknowledge, a Zippo is not, generally, considered “luxury.”

IM Corona Old Boy is hard to beat. It’s in that price range And extremely reliable.
You can use the Dupont as is or purchase a pipe burner for it and install it.
I have Duponts, Coronas, Zippos and a Colibri but the Corona wins in my book.

I have tried several,im corona old boy, zippo, kiribi and although the zippo always works I couldnt get the hang of lighting with it (my problem, lots dont have a problem).
I have settled on a Dunhill Rollagas pipe model picked up for around 120 GBP on fleabay.
works every time, lights my pipe mostly with ease (except GH flakes which take a little more work ) :)

or these, the most luxurious of all lighters

I have Old Boy's, Kiribi's, and Dupont's. I find myself not using any of them because unless the is no air movement at all they are all but useless. I go for my Zippo 99% of the time. Also as lefty rollagas and side wheel lighters are nearly impossible to to use comfortably and reliably. My Zippos are ambidextrous, tough, and reliable. If you want luxury get a Zippo in a sterling case and put a pipe insert in it.

In the specified cost range: I M Corona, either Pipemaster or Old Boy. I have both and my Pipemaster dates from the 80's, sent it back once to get refurbed--$35 they replaced nearly all of the internals. My Old Boy is not as old, it too performs flawlessly.

For top-of-the-line luxury: ST Dupont Ligne 2 with a pipe nozzle or a Dunhill Rollagas. Either can be had for a bit less than retail on eBay or the several high-end lighter vendors/restorers. I don't use these as much as they both take specialized gas refill bottles.

As for personal experience, I've never owned an IM Corona product but I've handled just about every variant.
I bought one of the Kiribi Kabutos when they first came out. Worked well for a couple years, then sent it in for a free refurb. Worked well for another year or so until.:.
Now it doesn't light. It sparks, and there's fuel, but it won't light.
If I open the cap and place it beside an open flame, it catches!

I've completely disassembled it, cleaned it, tried different flints, different fuels.. nothing seems to work.

I've been eyeballing Pipemasters for some time and I may pull the trigger soon.
Honestly, I've never had a problem with a standard Bic. Durable, reliable, fun colors, and cheaper than a cup of coffee.

The ones I use the most:

Zippo
Old Boy (I’m mostly outside on the deck, littlest bit of wind it is pretty useless, but the house blocks the normal prevailing wind)
Peterson (similar to Old Boy, just not as sturdy)
Beattie (fun but I’m sometimes clumsy with it and it seems to dry out easier when not used)

Go with the IM Corona Old Boy.

Kribis are nice, but mine didn't hold up past a few months.

The Pipemaster is nice too, though I've had a little trouble with mine.

That's interesting since it's the exact opposite of my experience.
Of the Old Boy designs only the Kiribi has held up for me.
Been using that thing for years every day.
Always had to return the IM Coronas after a few days.
