My best solution, which only works in the summertime in specific regions at dusk, is to gather roughly 17-23 firefly’s. Thus, removing my bud light hat, smothering the 17-21 (a few often escape my clutch) firefly’s along the underside of the bill. Presently, I am left with a nice glow that permeates downwards. Illuminating whatever may be in front of me.

I've been wearing them for years. I would walk Fryman Canyon starting out a little before sunset and it would be black as pitch by the time I was completing my downhill on the trail. Very useful item.
It also comes in handy in a darkened theater when you're trying to read your program. The light just covers a normal sized booklet and doesn't disturb others.
