Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, a.k.a. PBR
My all time favorite.
Its like a bowl of Prince Albert, comfort food.

Over the last few days I've tried a few more that I've really taken a liking to;
Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale

Shiner Bock

Kona Brewing Longboard Lager
I fear my "Top 10" list may be changing!

Or at least becoming more like a "Top 25" list, lol!

Earlier today I was in a meeting with a woman wearing a Lazy Magnolia Brewery shirt, and just now I read it listed here. I had never heard of this place before and now I see it twice in one day? I wonder if it's a sign...

@ericthered.
Yes, take it as a sign!

I had put off trying one of those Southern Pecans for a long while, but finally bought some the other day.

It's not at all what I had in mind. It's a great beer, go try one!

Picking a true top ten is a herculean task of both discrimination and memory. I was fortunate that I started shopping at a great craft beer store right at 21, so I started off with great beer. On the downside, I only have vague memories of some of those early beers, many of which were quite tasty. So, ten great beers I can recall drinking:
1) Guinness

2) Founders Breakfast Stout

3) Left Hand Milk Stout

4) Smoky Mountain Brewery's Pumpkin beer 2009?-2013. So good; it was like drinking pumpkin pie in the best way possible.They changed up the recipe this year, adding real pumpkin and cutting out the pie spices. Now it just tastes like someone spilled lager on a pumpkin.

5) Southern Tier Warlock

6) Terrapin MooHoo

7) Bluegrass Brewing Bourbon Barrel Stout Like chasing your stout with delicious bourbon

8) Duck Rabbit Milk Stout

9) Some guy from Abingdon, VA's home-brewed Chocolate Ale. Had it at the 1st Hops n Howlers Beer Fest this spring, and it was delightful.

10) Terrapin Rye Cubed.
@petes03 You might want to check out the Terrapin MooHoo. I was just in Chattanooga last night for my dad's birthday, and he tried it somewhere in Chattanooga (Heaven & Ale maybe) where they gave him a pint glass with the beer. Anyway, its a chocolate milk stout, and it is quite good.

I'll drink just about any beer! My most favoritest ones are:

Rogue Dead Guy

Boulevard Sixth Glass

Saint Bernardus ABT12

Saint Bernardus ABT8

Yuengling

Bell's Best Brown Ale (pairs well with Gawith's Best Brown Flake)

Dark Horse Scotty Karate

Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball

Stag

Scratch Brewery's Green Walnut (you have to go to Ava, IL on a certain time of year for that one)

I almost forgot Turbo Dog from Abita! When in New Orleans it accompanies every breakfast.

I just tried another good one yesterday, Lost Coast Downtown Brown.

I found it to be very enjoyable, and will probably become a regular for me.
I also tried Left Hand Milk Stout. I've had their Nitro version before, and IMO they're about the same.

Both are excellent!

@ mso489, I remember Meister Brau! That stuff was cheap as hell and pretty tasty to boot. That was my go to camping beer for quite some time.

I just finished a Highland Thunderstuck Coffee Porter, and it was oh so good! So far, I haven't had a bad brew from Highland. They are starting to rank very high on my list!

Just tried another good one this morning after work;

Narraganset Coffee Milk Stout.

Verry nice!

Drinks more like a Porter than a Stout. Nice frothy head, definite coffee notes, sweet yet a little bitter, med-low carbonation. Definitely worth buying if you like Stouts and Porters!

If you dig stout's, do yourself a favor and try Stone Brewery's Xocoveza. Had it recently from our local total wine and it is heavenly delicious. It's a mocha stout that has a deep and dark chocolate-y finish with just the right touch of sweetness to not make it unbearable. Also clocks in at 8.1% ABV, so packs a little bit of punch. I'm a Stone-head to begin with and they can do no wrong in my eyes (at least as of yet) with their beer selections, but this one is truly delicious. Give 'er a shot!

Also had a 4 pack of Founder's Breakfast Stout and a 4 pack of Brooklyn Brewery's Black Chocolate Stout as well (had both before) and both of these are world class selections from 2 very well known and respected breweries.

Had a highland Brewing Cold Mountain last night, which was a very nice winter beer. A spiced ale that is significantly less dark than what I usually drink, it is a crowd pleaser. I also sampled Saw Works double chocolate porter, which was a good chocolate porter. However, since the Cold Mountain was more different and thus more interesting, I ordered it instead.

@vfefrenzy. I've been wanting to try that one, but I haven't been able to find it around here.
I tried a few more good ones over the last few days;
Dundee Brewing Honey Brown Lager... Not bad, but not special.

Sierra Nevada Porter.... Good!

Bleugrass Brewing Nut Brown Ale.... Very Good!

Newcastle Werewolf Blood Red Ale... Good.

Atwater Brewing Vanilla Java Porter.... Excellent!

Abita Purple Haze... Not so good.

David I agree. I really like the malty characteristics of scottish ales. I am not big on hopps and thats why I prefer the UK beers.
