To go along with my recent trade and order at SmokingPipes, I placed an order from P&C and have two tins of Butera Pelican on the way.

I found another "Fairfax" rack for my new cabinet. Three of these fit nicely across the back (I have two now). I'll touch it up and cut out the holes into u-shapes.

I stumbled across this "Dorset Genuine Briar" pipe for a few bucks and couldn't resist the tapered stem Rhodesian shape. It will be fun to restore for a future blog article.

I smoked the first 3 at times over 40 years ago. As aromatics go, they are from another era when the scenting was considered a condiment. You will find they quite light compared to many current offerings. They were nice but still want the tobacco's taste to be a component.

I didn't purchase it but my Nephew sent me a surprise gift of tobacco today.
He sent a half oz of Manil Semois (knew that was coming) and a tin of And So To Bed, I guess that was jut to fill the box. :puffpipe:

This 1930's Kaywoodie Supergrain 5183B was listed with a relatively low BIN on Ebay today, I made an even lower offer that was accepted. This one's a little battered, but it went for a fraction of what I've seen this shape/age pipe go for.
