SmokingPipes Order:
I'm drooling over all the nice OGS flakes I'll be able to age :) As far as flakes go, they are the best bang for the buck I know of, after some aging they are wonderful. The BBF and Cellar are one's I've never had before, pretty much everyone says that cellar is the best froggy out there, time to see.

McClelland Craftsbury: Frog Morton 50g x1

McClelland Craftsbury: Frog Morton's Cellar 50g x1

In the mail today arrived 8 ounces of the glorious Battleground, courtesy of the Humidor in Murfreesboro, TN.
I put 2 ounces away to see how it ages and the rest in a big jar to smoke up at leisure.

Thursday I received a Bjarne sandblasted bent Prince and two MM cobs from Pipes and Cigars. Waiting on the Angler's Dream which was backordered(Damn it!). Saturday I scored an estate Savinelli La Milano Pot, beautiful pipe.

1. A beautiful Charles Maas pipe which I secured on eBay yesterday. A lovely 1906 briar with fantastic silverwork, looking in great condition. I got it at the opening bid, can hardly believe there were no other bidders! It should be in my grubby hands by Wednesday, latest (if I was any good at photography and knew how to post the pics I would do so!).
2. Tobacco - Peterson's IF, Dunhill's Nightcap and My Mixture, and of course McQuaig's Plug and Square Cut Flake which I will be comparing and posting my thoughts on the "Plug versus Flake" thread on Tues/Wed!

Friday I received my (Danish) Stanwelll brass band 4-panel horn, courtesy of Marty Pulvers.
Tomorrow I should receive my Brog Kentucky No. 43. Looking forward to it. It's in a shape reminiscent of the Stanwell No. 11, with what appears to be an interesting rustication.

A bunch of orders today, to be expected this week: on the basis of favorable comments about Sutliff, I've ordered my usual Molto Dolce, plus Black Swan, Navigator, and Maple Street, the latter I've tried before and found pleasant. Then there are some accessories: a two pipe tobacco pouch, with room for accessories, some sweetener cleaning fluid, and some reusable stem brushes. Lastly, not directly pipe oriented, but equipment to be used in designing and rendering my custom pipe for my artisan friend, some black ink for my technical pens (these are the pen used in defining the drawings I've put online), some cadmium red liquid red paint, and watercolor liquid frisket. And I saw an intriguing Ashton, pebble grain, but with a combination pot/billiard bowl. Such a pipe, for me, would be the best of both worlds; I have a Peterson pot bowl which controls much of the heat coming off a bowl, and of course the billiad is always my favorite bowl style; a combination of the two would be wonderful. I just have to win the lotto first. And I'm expecting my refinished Hightower pipe to come home to me this week.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on the Pipeworks & Wilke sampler. Reviews have been resoundly good do I'll be looking forward to this package. I've heard shipping is sporadic, so I may be in for a wait.

Bjarne Viking Classic sandblast. I bought this to ease my pain. I accidentally drilled a hole through my Nording Moss F freehand. Trying to line up the draught hole with the tenon. I probably should have just left it alone, but it was a bit of a wet smoker. Or, I should have done the smart thing, and looked on this forum first! I have since went out and bought a needle file set. Still gonna work on lining up that draught hole before I patch the hole in the shank.

Took advantage of the Buy 2 get 1 on H&H 8oz cans!

Estate Savinelli Florence. I'm a sucker for bulldogs without bead lines. I was inspired to buy it based on the thread "just buy the pipe." This was from SP.com
100_1868-600x451.jpg

And I just had to take advantage of free shipping from SP! and there's a discount when you get 5 tins of either Escudo or OGS. Free sample (1st one I've ever gotten from them)

Thanks Roth. I'm looking forward to it. Been on a bit of a quality aromatic kick lately.
Murf- Despite having started that thread, I've been staring at another pipe trying to decide if I should take my own advice (having just purchased two pipes last week...)
