I don't always get TAD in the mail on back to back days, but twice lately some blends I wanted to try have come back in stock literally right after I do an order. So, the second of back to back orders from 4noggins just came in...

Perique, I can't give advice for your dilemma, but I'll let you in on what I've decided (for now).
I currently have 17 pipes (3 are cobs, so 14 briars). That's 12 more than march of 2012. I have just about filled my "cellar," with some significant spillover. It's probably going to take me the rest of my life to smoke it all.
Granted, to me (and certainly my wife!), things seem a little out of control. So, I've decided to put it to rest for awhile. No more browsing through websites, spend a little less time on this forum. I'm surprised as to how much time I spend browsing or reading.
So, I need to take a break. You can't covet what you can't see, right? I just re-strung my guitar after it sat in its case for 3 yrs. I've found some of my old russian textbooks, gonna work on speaking that again. Just found a bunch of free e-books on mythologies of the world. But it's all gotta start with closin up the laptop, putting it away, and spending some time away from a screen. Just my two cents

A Fribourg and Treyer (F&T) pipe from an eBay auction - should be delivered tomorrow. I didn't pay anything like I should have, so if the mortis isn't fused to the tenon I have a winner. It looks beautiful.
I collect old English classics, especially those older than me, and has been pointed out by others on this site I am indeed very old!!

Not a mail purchase but a b&m acquisition from Racine & Laramie in old town San Diego. My first tub of sugar barrel. Just shot up the charts as my favorite OTC blend. Even beats out Walnut. And that's saying something. Classic old time pipey aroma and super cool. I rolled the dice on a full tub and I can't say I'm disappointed.

While browsing the different online pipe retailers I was checking out 4noggins. They had some Dan Tobacco - Devils Holiday in stock so I ordered that and a tin of Three Nuns. 4noggins shipped before my PayPal payment even cleared. Great service and fast shipping.

Got a nice hook up from P&C due to unfortunate news.
I took the bait on their "Buy a Peterson get a Peterson tin and pouch of Erin Go Bragh for free" deal. I went for the Peterson B10 rusticated Donegal and for good measure bought the new Christmas Cheer. Fast forward to delivery day, got a call from P&C telling me that the Pete pipe was on backorder and was therefore not shipped. I told them to just refund the money.
I came away with the Christmas Cheer, Erin Go Bragh and Peterson Irish Flake ... for the low price of $15. Free shipping to boot.
