It's a vegan bulger/cracked wheat "salad" that punches above its weight class. It has onions, crushed tomatoes and lemon juice.

Here is the family recipe. I only use 2 medium onions and don't use green pepper to garnish. It's 2 cups of bulger (or cracked wheat) and I add about 10 to 12 ounces of water to the tomato mix. You don't have to wait a full 2 hours for the bulger to absorb all the liquid and become soft.
