In honor of George Gershwin's birthday, September 26, 1898, here's a wonderful clip from a 1932 Rudy Valee radio program in which George talks about his music, plays versions of "Fascinating Rhythm", "Liza" "Prelude" and "I Got Rhythm" and kibbitzes with Rudy.
After watching the first clip, you may want to watch the live performance of Gershwin playing "I Got Rhythm" from a 1931 clip that is filmed from 3 separate camera angles.
