Green Manalishi is a big favorite, one of the first tunes I learned to play back in the late Cretaceous. Sorry to hear they didn’t do it.
Now playing Steely Dan - Countdown to Ecstasy.

Brian, this Greek don't want 'em either. Great tune! (Hey Roy, someone swiped your lick)
And now, for something completely different...

I was into some Bix Beiderbecke, and thought I'd share this beautiful and, for a 1927 jazz composition, incredibly inventive piano solo by Bix, who was just as accomplished a pianist as he was a horn player.

Stumbled onto this Aussie 60 mins segment on youtube with Stevie Nicks & Chrissie Hynde...thought it was pretty good for anyone interested.
Hynde is something else...tough interview.

I was listening to the two record LP, The Live Adventures Of Mike Bloomfield And Al Koooper. Here is the track "Sonny Boy Williamson" with Carlos Santana sitting in for the indisposed Bloomfield.

It is one of the first recordings on which Carlos appeared, in September 1968.

And, check out the album cover portrait, it's by Norman Rockwell. How cool is that?

Thanks Brian64, I'm a big Chrissie Hynde fan. I can recommend her autobiography, a fascinating lady.
One of my managers caught their show last year in Pittsburgh and said it was fantastic. I somehow missed that one...
