Listening to Chick Corea and Gary Burton. Here's a very entertaining live performance filled with virtuosity and fun, that begins with Vibes for 4 hands, "Armando's Rumba"

For all you Zappa fans, Philo and me included, here's that amazing live 1988 Barcelona performance of his arrangement of Ravel's Bolero, with Frank conducting The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life.

If you've never heard this before, you will be entertained.

I was surfin' YT and came across this amazing acoustical performance by Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins, live at Secret Policeman's Ball, 1987. They're playing "I'll See You In My Dreams" and "Imagine"

I've been over these highways for years in the dark

Crisscrossing the land like a stitch on the wound

Rolling through the night while millions were sleeping

Under every phase of the moon

Under every phase of the moon
And the wind blows down hard in the night

With the ghosts of the brave and the damned

Howling their song, locked in their fight

Over every inch of this land

Over every inch of this land
And they say what is lost will be what is won

What is done will be done and undone again

They say don't think for a second that you won't become

One more voice on the wind

One more voice on the wind

I met a Frenchman in a field last night

He was out there with an easel, painting carnival light

He said, "I used to paint the princess, I used to paint the frogs

Now I paint moustaches on dangerous dogs"

One of the great features of Spotify is how you can select a band you like and then click on their "radio" and it will play tunes form a variety of bands with similar music. Was listening to some fine bluegrass on Town Mountain's "radio."

Hey all!........I've been absent from posting here, still lurk once in a while...........

I've been working 80-88 hours/week...... No Fun!!.

But I've put together a little Amplifier in the Single Ended Triode Mode.. with the venerable 45 tubes.........Playing through Klipsch Cornwalls........

Pure bliss, I don't know what else to say....... I've been listening to a lot of Dylan, Cohen. Peter,Paul & Mary...... this set-up is pure ear-candy.....

I'll be eligible to retire in

20 months, can't get here soon enough...............

Been listening to a bunch of Joni ...... On Vinyl......Sweet Stuff....

Hey Beef...good to see you posting again. But damn, 80-88 hour weeks??? That's brutal dude.
Retirement in 20 months sounds great, but I hope you don't have to keep up those kind of hours that long. I couldn't do it.
