JBC- You are going to LOVE that show!! I saw them last fall, and the current machine line-up is fantastic, here's a pic of me with Brittney Haas, their current fiddle player, after the show in Cleveland:

Finishing up work for the week this morning so no pipe smoking yet. However, to make the work go faster I'm listening to Canned Heat's On The Road Again album.

Some Wilco and Billy Bragg on this beautiful sunny Mississippi Friday afternoon with a bowl of Marlin flake.

Gotta get my fix of big band music every so often and the Duke always fits the need.

One of my all time favorites since I was a kid in the 50's was 'Satin Doll' much to the amusement and puzzlement of my childhood friends who were listening to Elvis. Had this album playing in my living room while smoking a bowl of PA this afternoon. Sometimes life hits the right chord and all is copacetic.

This music is a perfect pairing with a cob full of Peterson's Special Reserve.

96/24 FLAC file of M. Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna sung by the Los Angeles Master Chorale and heard through PSB headphones. Beyond sublime.

By new I assume you're referring to Everything Must Go. Great album, but it's 13 years old already...hard to believe.
Yep it is called Android Shuffle, check it out on spotify.
Been listening to Parker Millsap.

I'm guessing that what you're referring to is Android Warehouse, which I believe is a bootleg collection of unreleased demos and some assorted stuff from Becker & Fagan's pre-Steely Dan years.

For comparison, first is the bootleg early demo of Brooklyn from the Android collection, and then the version released on SD's first album. The final version is a vast improvement over the demo imo.
