So how many times a day do you hear the Menard's song? You save big money. Save big money, when you shop at Menaaaard's.

I work for a bank in the mortgage modification complaint department. I have to address inquiries that customers file with the Office of the Comptroler of Currency office.
I realy am not fond of my job since I started out 15 years in crdit card collections. I am one of many that had to drop out of college and pursue a carreer in the job force due to bills and a getting married and a kid at the fun age of 21.
I would love to be doing something outdoors like a park ranger or a part of the forestry service.

Interesting thread that's for sure!
Spent 4 years in the USAF playing with nuclear missiles and B-52 Bombers. Best years of my life right there.
Now own and operate an industrial screen printing business with my sister. No we don't do T shirts. We make safety decals, aluminum data/rating plates and graphic overlays (embossed keypads like on your microwave oven) for manufacturing. Our printed labeling finds it's way onto products in many industries:
Heavy Construction Equipment

Automotive

Aerospace/Aviation (A tiny aluminum label we make went to space onboard the space shuttle fleet.)

Telecomunications

Medical Equipment

Various Electronic Devices

Cryogenics

Agricultural Equipment

Printing Industry (We print labels that go on printing presses. That's kinda funny)

Heating/Cooling/Environmental

Fluid/material handling

Scales
Just a small family business quietly doing our thing. My sis handles the administrative side. And I oversee the nuts & bolts end. We've got a good crew with longest employed being here for over 25 years.

Land Surveyor of... what, 12 years now? Just finished up my 4 year in Philosophy. Writing part time and studying 3D modeling programs while arguing with myself on whether or not to try out for Air Force OTS.

I got my degree in Respiratory Therapy. There the ones in the hospital that take care of patients with ling cancer due to their smoking! I use my degree to do sleep studies instead. I watch people sleep and see if they have sleep apnea, if they do I put what's called a bi pap on them and find out what pressure they need. Pretty fun job and I love the equipment. I only wish I got to work with more ventilators and the funner stuff at my job.

Independent insurance agent sell a little bit of everything but specialize in commercial lines, i was with a major mutual and was doing personal planning and investments but wanted to get back into some business to business sales. Prior to insurance I was a sales engineer with a metal manufacture specializing in store fixtures, back 4 years ago I did the majority of sunglasses hut fixtures and a good bit for circuit city but when they went out and the market dropped I left the industry.

I have a bookkeeping gig year-round, mainly payroll for small business. I prepare income taxes in the spring. During the summer I work as a tour guide. Fall is a little tough and the winter is supplemented by the Permanent Fund Dividend check we get every October. We make ends meet, rents get paid, Momma and Baby don't go hungry, and there's little left over for TAD and the occasional PAD orders.

Did a little bit of everything but the last couple years I've strayed away from heavy labor, because I have bad "wheels"

<p>I've done many things. My last gig was working for the Colorado Unemployment Department as an adjudicator. Now I'm a full time theology student in the Franciscan (Catholic) tradition, part time librarian, and assistant to the director of an historical academy. The pay is not as good as working for the man, but for the first time in years I don't hate what I do! You gotta follow your bliss... Luckily I have a very loving and understanding wife who agreed to come along for the ride.

Very little beyond occupying the space I've been assigned... and if I'm honest, I don't do it particularly well, but nobody else wanted the position.
