how did you like it? Almost bought a couple yesterday.
It was decent. I had it as a second cigar so my palate was a bit fried. Had a kind of salty flavor I didn't care for initially but it settled down after an inch or so. Had a nice, lush draw with some maduro "ripeness." I'd be happy to smoke another but probably won't buy any more. I think they're a limited edition, anyway. Glad I tried it and I bet the broadlead and maduro fans will find it up their alley. I'd give it a CA rating of 88 or so.

It was shorter than an "Aristocrat", ergo shorter than a "Super Partagas". Could have been a "Short". I had it lying next to a Ramon Allones Small Club Corona, which was the same size to my eye.
Sounds like it. Do you find the Habaneros a touch sweeter, and maybe a bit lighter in body, than the Shorts? That's been my experience, though I've consistently had better construction from the Shorts.

Yes, I find the Habaneros a bit sweeter. I‘m not sure, which one is lighter in body, but I find the Habanero has more development and change of flavours throughout the smoke, (which I like) whereas the Short, did not change that much. So far I have been lucky with the construction of my Habaneros.

Smoked this Rocky Patel Edge A10. Picked it up only for the barbershop wrapping. Draw was uncomfortably snug and you can see in the pic where a Maduro band in the wrapping was peeling away during the smoke. I don't know if that's a common occurrence with barbershop sticks or just poor construction but this the first cigar that I've had happen.
