It was a nice day, so I spent it in the yard getting it ready for spring planting. I hope my cuz. brings me some of his goatand horse manure tomorrow, so I can mix it up with my rabbit and chicken and fet the funky part out of the way. I noticed from my coffe grounds that I keep for a nitrogen boost for my roses, that I must not be drinking as much of it here lately.

I'm sore this AM from going and convincing family yesterday to let me obtain a old rusted up cultivator that was laying out in the pasture rusting to hell and gone. I used a winch and a comealong to get it onto a trailer. Brought it home.. took it off the trailer with my small Ford 1220 Tractor. Went to work with wire brush to get all the rust off of it. It's going to take a few days. LOL. Then I plan to rust prevent paint it. And then work the daylights out of it. :D

Revising my cover letter and prepping for an interview. Did some music mixing on my girlfriends Numark mixtrack and completing some screening applications on Bank jobs. Going to Toast Masters (public speaking club) today and review a little more on the IRS volunteer tax program.
Tilled up some for the garden spot.
Pulled some more timber trash to the future barn fire. LOL
Told a neighbor that if they didn't leash or pen up their dog, and it was on my place again, I'd make use of the County Ordinance. ( Bang! ) she got it.

Spent the day getting poked and proded at the VA hospital in East Orange NJ. It was fun listening to all the old war farts bitch about everything, I learned a few new twist to old swears. All in all good day I guess for playing the hurry up and wait game.
I use egg shells as well, thanks for the thought. You wouldn't beleive what all goes into my compost and mellon mounds. Goat,rabbit,chicken & horse manure. The remains from cleaned fish, used coffee grounds, egg shells and all of the fallen branches and yard clippings. I has worked for me for many seasons of great grapes,berries,peaches,pears,mellons and veggies. My roses and pecans as well.

I used very under-handed arguments to end a debate quickly and decisively just because I was too nervous to continue, it wasn't even a topic I agree with in fact I felt dirty just being on that side. Instead of finding a creative way to do what I was asked without doing what the teacher wanted, I did something against my code of honour, and to be frank I've spent most of the rest of the day pissed at myself.
I found the most delicious Reuben in the town in my wandering around town to clear my mind though. Doesn't compare to getting one in Germany or back in Chicago, but a decent enough proxy I was happy to find it.

Lawrence you should be a proud papa , I wish schools would give more credit for good grades than sports . Today was a nice Mexican lunch with two friends and a lot of work . Then when I was almost home my foot slipped of the brake and I tapped the car in front of me at the light .You would have thought I had t boned him doing a 100mph . The sheriff refused to write me a ticket as no damage was done to either car . Hey it happens .
Worked 1/2 day, then went to my son's shop and got to sit in his car and experience a 150db burp out of his new 12" Obsidian woofer he designed and sells.

Got some 8 GA. wire to rewire my home subwoofer and remove the Tara Labs wire that's there now, so that I can use it for wiring up my front main speakers I'm restoring. Looked inside a Yamaha DSP-A1 HT processor to see why it's cutting out on protection..was going to buy it, but now gonna return it to the guy that advertised it on Craigslist. ATe Mexican tonite...which is my big weakness to eating healthy. :D

Began making use of my new canning jars to store the varieties I recently purchased from pipesandcigars.com. Took trash to recycling center, accompanied by Pete, our adopted Pit Bull (you can take the food right out of his mouth, not that I would want to). Then took Pete and Peewee (our adopted some-kind-of-hound) for a 4-mile walk.
I'm an outside (and garage) smoker and today I tried Billy Bud for the first time. My wife came out of the house and said, "Ugh! Somebody's burning trash!" Usually, I smoke aromatics, so she wasn't used to this. I said, "Nope, it's my pipe. I'm smoking a different type of tobacco today." She looked at me as if I were from the Village of the Damned and went immediately back into the house.
I felt the warmth of the sun and smiled to myself, "Heh. This is a good day."
