Finished up my 6pm to 6am shift. Watched youtube videos and fell asleep. Woke up in time to see the end of my dad's band practice. Considering catching a showing of Drive Angry. Waiting for my new pipe to arrive. Hopefully by tomorrow

I went to a firearms auction today and bought an M1 carbine. 1943 Underwood with M15 grenade launching sites.
Came home and searched the interwebs for an M7 launcher.
Still looking for grenades, may hit Wal-Mart tomorrow. I wonder if they come in six packs or 12 packs?
:D

Ooh, very nice. My father has had two M1s...both have broken now, by the crappiest of luck.

The first was a reproduction done by IMI; the receiver almost exploded while I was shooting it. The other a, shoot, can't recall, but original, made in the 40s, purchased through the CMP, and it's bolt cracked! Also while I was shooting it. Maybe M1 Carbines don't like me.

I was busy all day outside on the farm:

I planted 24 hazelnut trees that were about 3 foot tall, 12 = 6foot tall black walnut trees, and 4 = 4footer peach trees. Glad I got a post hole digger on my Ford Tractor.

CHurch here is awesome, the wife is under the weather so we can watch online. Then went to one of the buffets here in Vegas. Watched an old movie while the wife rested on the sofa.

I did a section of my online history course (3 parts, each with 5 sections make up the semester, that and 3 cheap little essays you get full points for just doing), am all caught up on my in house courses as it were. . .should probably prep for the debate on Friday but I prefer to do those off the cuff, my team put me on closing arguments anyway, I have a whole 11 minutes to find out what I should say. Besides.. . .when you're on closing you -can't- prepare for it. You're going to respond to what each team said. Nothing can prepare you for that, and anyone that says otherwise is lying.
Umm, other than that? I sat back and managed to get a good bit drunk catching up on the Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Big Bang Theory, House and Vampire Diaries. I'm watching the last episode I before I'm caught up with everything right now and then I'm going to bed. . . I have a bit of a headache. Getting drunk alone when you aren't writing is pointless. All it does is give you a slight headache and make you tired come bedtime.

Worked from 6AM to 5PM, got some 1/2" EMT conduit for my speaker rebuilt project at Lowes, then the Heavens opened up and it rained HARD for an hour...ate a Salmon Steak supper, then finally went home. I did smoke 4 bowls of Samuel Gawith-Commonwealth baccy while going to and from a job meeting today....I kinda like this stuff.

Opened the bar at 11 AM and worked the slowest shift I've had in a long time.

Not much, there were severe thunderstorm warnings and lots of rain. However I did stop in the discount tobacco shop(mainly ciggarettes, chew, and nasal snuff) And picked up two MM washingtons bent/straight, I guess just to have something to do. The lady laughed and told me just to buy the whole display, only because in the past few days I've been in there and bought 4 MM cobs. I'm just getting ready, it's been warm first time it's rained in about two weeks and I've been spending more time on the river bank. I figured a few new cobs would be good for the river bank rotation!

Had my first day off in awhile, spent it in peace and quiet cleaning up the house and clearing out old clothes and papers and clutter. I had a big fried chicken feast for supper and spent the next three hours at my wine class - two hours of lectures and notes, one hour tasting a flight of delicious reds! Settling down now with a pipe of McClelland 5100 before I head off to bed - going to listen to some Planxty while I'm at it.
Got another quiet day tomorrow; hoping to have a big bacon breakfast, study for a few hours with some cups of Earl Grey, and spend some time with my girlfriend later on. Looking forward to it - might break out some Escudo for some additional enjoyment as the night wanes.

A quiet day here spent digging through my new stems and not finding what I was looking for. Bound to show up as soon as I order another dozen. Read and spent time enjoying my pipes.

I got tierd of doing nothing because of the storm. So I went out to the garage and found a couple of scrap peices of boards, and decided to make a square pipe rack/tobacco shelf. When I get the chance I'll post a picture of it. Being stuck in the house has gotten me started on a project that keeps growing in me mind. Because even though I've finished and stained it, I kinda want to make it the top shelf of a stair step design with three or four shelves.
