Damn Lawrence! Now you know why it's too hot to wear pants. We're just outside of ATL and it has been scorching every day this week.
Today we went to the rehearsal for my brother's wedding (in a botanical garden) and somehow I got sunburned through SPF 45 sunscreen and a white cover-up. We gave him and his almost-wifey a pair of estate pipes but didn't get to see them open them. Hopefully they like them! Then I got home and tried on the dress for the wedding and it somehow grew in my closet. Commence marathon shopping... Tomorrow I'm going to go for SPF 70!
And here are some pantsless pics to help all y'all cool off:

WOW!..... 8O it got hot in here all of a sudden. Ok regain composure.............. I bought a wrecked motorcycle today and brought it home to restore. Then broke out the SMS for the first smoke in it. After that I logged on here to learn to post pics of my new pipe purchases, and post what I did today. I had to push my eyes back into my head after seeing Cyndi's pics.

Spent some of the day jet-skiing, some of it pontoon-boating, and the rest of it reading in a hammock along the Guadalupe River here in Seguin. Also sailed a 15' Sunfish around for a couple hours...
Seriously, you'd think Texans had never seen a sailboat before. =]

Hummina hummina hummina...
(shakes head to clear cobwebs)
I took a tour of Tennessee and saw Greenback, Alcoa, and Maryville. Not impressed. But I did find a meetup group to go play trivia with tomorrow night. So that should be fun.

Also, right now I'm watching Goodfellas on the History Channel. Great film, but it's almost better watching the "safe for TV version" after seeing the real deal a few times. It's hilarious to watch "them" try to clean it up.

Sold my beloved 02 Triumph Bonneville America we rode for 40,000 miles. A bit sad, so we built a fire in the pit and I consoled my myself with the neighbors, my pipe (Northwoods and some Cherry Cobler to finish the night) and a glass two or three of Canadian Club "Classic 12" and Vanilla Seltzer (lovely!). That cheered me up a bit, well, that and the wad of cash in my pocket for the next project (MGB?).

I'm back in the office for cleaning detail. I am clearly the toughest s.o.b. I've ever worked for.

LOL, y'all are a great group! It's Corona in the drink holder of the hammock.
Bootleg and I just got back from my brother's wedding to a gorgeous girl. It was 101 degrees and a garden wedding! I thought we were all going to melt into a big puddle. The reception was indoors, thank goodness, and was a lot of fun. Now it's time to kick up my feet, drink a jug of wine, and think about lighting a pipe. That would just take effort and I don't know if I have anymore in me. I need a swimming pool to float in.
Heh, that reminds me. A couple years ago, I set up a large kiddy pool in the garage. After the kids went to bed, I'd go lay out in the pool and drink wine and read. Very redneck, but very awesome.

Cyndi: Thanks for putting up with us bunch of old geezers(wanna be Players) :nana:
I went to the grocery first, then went to the NAPA store and bought some cork gasket material and went home and made a valve cover gasket for the Honda push mower, which fixed the oil leak.(I did buy some Copper FormAGasket igloo), just thought I'd try the cork gasket first. Watched part 3 of Zeitgeist movie  which every person in America should be forced to watch. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

Went out for lunch at the local diner....1/8th of a mile from the house, then picked up my wifes prescriptions ( damned toxic synthetic chemicals ), got my hair cut by the voluptuos Thai girl at Great Clips, came home and mowed the yard to inaugurate the new mower ( it blazes through the yard on gear #3 ). Gonna take a nap and dream of Cyndi ( I mean my wife...yeah, that's what I meant to say )..my wife,,,,my wife. :laughat:
