Nightcap after work while everyone is still sleeping. Bourbon is old tub. Smoked the padron too fast so I grabbed a rocky patel 1990
Smoking an Oliva Connecticut Reserve Lonsdale on my way home from work. 
Not a bad cigar but I had higher hopes. To me the best flavors didn’t come out until the last 3rd. The first 3rd was rather boring and during the middle it started to liven up a bit. Personally I doubt I’ll be buying anymore of them, not pricey at $6 but I feel I could get a much better smoke from Drew Estate for that price. Oh well I’ll smoke it to me finger anyway lol. 
Feeling lazy but in need of a good smoke still. Going with a Padron Palmas Natural, going to finish my coffee with Bulleit bourbon as I smoke this and then pour a glass of rum. The pick actually shows the wrapper well, all luck lol. 
But he had a rep to maintain. . .But an unbelievable feat!There is a fellow at my local shop infamous for finishing an LFD Double Ligero Digger (an 8.5" x 60 monstrosity, and a most potent blend) in like 37 minutes! An impressive feat that makes me queasy just contemplating. Another guy made a big deal for weeks leading up to New Year's Eve a few years ago that he was going to smoke a Digger, which was out of character for him. It must have taken him 5-6 hours to smoke his, and it was pretty obviously kicking his ass. I don't know how long it would take an average cigar smoker to get through a Digger (too much cigar for me!) but I'm guessing it's somewhere between 37 and 360 minutes
Anyway, my usual take is do what makes you happy, but come on.... the only cigars you should be finishing in 37 minutes are small coronas like minutos, perlas, etc., or cigarillos and the like.

Jamie Especial Gordo while Zero turning, finished and wife brought cold wet wash clothes, wiped down, asked her to get me a Cigar, she came back with a Oliva V Melanio, Damn that gal has a good eye. Glass of lemonade, cold glass of water, slight breeze, Man this is liveing.
I’ve got to find me one like that lol. My ex could only complain about smoke, she never would have picked one out for me especially one that good.
Not sure if everybody's aware but SP.com is having a 20% off on cigars ending today. Scooped up a couple dozen Padrons, Olivas, and Rocky Patels.

Yup, I used it to grab another box of Padron Palmas’ and a few single sticks from various companies. That box will boost my stash up to last me a few years, now I’ll only buy single cigars that catch my eye for a few years.

And is a box not just a repressive control mechanism for 25 lonely single cigars? Hell, if so, you're doing those sticks a service by liberating them from their gaudy, rectangular confines and then honoring them with a funeral pyre a la Odin.
