Hanging with Vera today, smoking a Bolivar Corona Junior. First one I grabbed from the tupperdor was plugged solid, second one was pretty good despite the wonky burn.
I dug deep today and smoked an original release (2007) Cohiba Maduro Secreto. This box unfortunately had the fire-proof EL wrapper. I never really had a good one out of the box. But after smoking one today they have finally turned the corner. It was like smoking a chocolate bar. Not sure if it was worth 13 years of aging, but a great cigar nonetheless.
Oliva Cain F Lancero. Contrary to the impression given by the "straight ligero" marketing line, I have always found these to be well-blended. Full bodied, sure, but not out of the ordinary for a Nicaraguan. Good value cigar, and easy to find on sale.
Well, I don’t have a cow, so a Springer or two will suffice.
First Brick House Maturo. Very enjoyable taste. Rich, sweet, creamy, not overly peppery. A bit underwhelmed with the draw and burn. This one could just be an anomaly. Would buy again.
