Looks like a great cigar! How does it taste?La Gran Llave,I like these. Burning some wood on a beautiful day along the Nature Coast, black coffee and Art Pepper?View attachment 60921
Smoked 2 new to me cigars today while playing golf. JC Newman Julius Caeser which is Nicaraguan. First 1/3 was mild, harsh and green. Finally got okay around 1/2 way point. May get better with age but I doubt it'll ever be close to great.
Monte Cristo Nicaraguan was actually decent. Had some strength and body. I wouldn't trade a Padron 2000 or 3000 for either.
Mild and harsh at the same time is a miserable combination. I haven't actually tried the JCs before, but it had been on my list. I still might try it just for my own curiosity, but that's a bummer.Smoked 2 new to me cigars today while playing golf. JC Newman Julius Caeser which is Nicaraguan. These are tasty. And priced wellAfter a wonderfull diner of sauerkraut/pork ribs and mashed potatoes(to quote another member) Cigar time with a taste of cognac...
Those 3000's are one of my favoritesEgars had some fantastic deals over the holidays, 35 total for around $220. Cabiguan, Tats, Olivia V and Padron 2000, 3000 and 4000. Been burning through quite a few cigars playing golf.
