Nice set up. Did you get the cedar shavings from a cigar box?

Hi @RL Bucktails

No it came with the tupperdor I bought on Amazon.

Cigar Tupperdor Humidor

It also came with a thin spanish cedar liner that the cigars sit on. I tossed out the humidifier, and hygrometer, then put in a few 69% boveda packs. That Boost pack came on my last cigar order, so I tossed it in there too.

This tupperdor is really nice, the acrylic is quite thick/beefy. I was really surprised at the quality, so I bought two, one for my Cubans, and this one you saw, with my New World.

The pic you saw, if you zoom it up, you’ll see the dial is on January 29th, I’ve had a bunch of New World in it 10 months and they’ve been doing great. Same for the Cubans too in their case, with 65% Boveda packs, they’re also doing great.

Having today for the first time, My Father - Tabacos Baez Robusto.

My last order was all inexpensive sticks. I’m planning to really look more in the future too, to see what other good inexpensive sticks are out there.

This one was $3.80, and I’m really shocked at how nice this is for such a low price. We all know My Father has a name in the cigar world, I just never expected a cigar of this price to be quite nice.

Just starting out with it, being a Short Filler, I can’t say I’m noticing any differences.

Interesting, they even list them on their website. 🧐

Be well everyone! 🤙 ❤️

Nice! I've been curious about that one, because I'm always interested in good, affordable cigars. Seems like the Tabacos Baez line has been around a long time, but I've never had it.

I've been curious about the New Cuba line from Aganorsa as well

To date, this is the best tasting least expensive cigar I’ve bought. Given the low cost, I guess the next thing to consider, how consistent are they from stick to stick.

There’s a little complexity, slightly sweet and mild, but I’m still quite surprised at how good this is. I’d easily compare to a cigar costing 2-3 times more.

I’ve not smoked any cigars from Aganorsa…

Get one of these Tabacos Baez, hopefully it’s just as good, I’d like to hear what you think.
