My local B&M just started carrying the Herrera Esteli Habano Lonsdale. First time with this size (the robusto version is a favorite of mine); it smoked and tasted great.

Moving on to a My Father La Promesa. My Father is easily in my top 3 factories. Pretty much everything they touch is amazing.
Bohekio Robusto Gordo (5”x55). It was 65 degrees this morning and now it’s cold and windy as f*** here in metro ATL.
I got one of these from MyCigarPack a few months ago but I’ve just been sitting on it. I’m anticipating it greatly whenever I finally get around to lighting it on fire.
I think you'll enjoy it. La Bijou and LA Antiguedad are probably my favorites.
I’ve only ever had Le Bijou 1922 from MF, I’m a huge fan of that cigar.

I just had a MF La Promesa in the lancero size earlier this week and thought it was one of the better lanceros I've had recently. Guessing the other sizes are nice too.
MF lancero are great, their No. 4 is fantastic. I've been exploring lanceros much more lately, Foundation Tabernacle is really really good if you haven't tried that one yet.

Yeah, I dig The Tabernacle too. Broadleaf maduro lanceros seem a bit less common and it fills that niche lightly. Though if we're taking Foundation lanceros, I am a sucker for the El Gueguense lancero. The entire El Gueguense line is decidedly my style, and the lancero is a really good expression!
Agree on the MF No. 4. One of the best lanceros of all time, IMO.
Honestly anything from Foundation is killer. I love all the quality cigars we have access to these days.

Have you had the newish one. I think it was called Olmec. I had both the claro and maduro versions and thought they were both fantastic. The claro in particular was unlike anything I've ever had with a Mexican wrapper.
Illusione Cruzado with Rwandan coffee
A custom roll from a Habanos SA roller in shop at LCdH in Tijuana. The cigar is basically a piramide with the length of a Churchill or DC. Curious to see how it is. Was certainly a good value compared to the prices of the imported standards rolled in Havana. Drinking some Ethiopian coffee to go with it.

Yes Art had a pretty rough time. I heard they had a jazz band in San Quentin at one time. Several others of his time also had similar lives, Stan Getz, Chet Baker to name a few.
