Maternal grandfather: cigarettes, never remember the brand
Paternal grandfather: RLP6, his local B&M called it something else but he'd go down there every few weeks and buy a pound or two...smoke it until he ran out and then get some more.

My grandfather smoked unfiltered Pall Mall and sometimes Camel lol. Probably Lucky Strike during the war ?‍♂️

As far as pipes, I assume I'm the first person in my family to smoke a pipe or pipe tobacco.

Granddaddy smoked Prince Albert but he rolled it in cigarettes. He finally quit the last year he was alive. He didn’t tell us right away that he had quit and my dad gave him a carton of PA for Xmas after he quit ?

My grandfather on my mother's side was an all-day pipe-smoker. Sadly, she cannot tell me what he smoked. She is 87 years old, so let's give her a break. She can still tell a good joke. Ha. Wishing her well.

I wish I knew. I got into pipe smoking years after he passed. When we were going through his stuff I never found any tobacco tins. Only pipes and a Pipe rack.
