I do mostly mandalas (all from scratch, all freehand) with either acrylic paint or colored pencils. I do the occasional traditional painting as well. Have also won a couple poetry awards.

cool mandalas there is something therapeutic about drawing repetitive patterns.
in grade school my friend and I used to draw "scoobies" which were oblong overlapping ovals.... covering pages and pages.

don't ask me where the fuck the name scooby came from hahaha

They are extremely therapeutic. I think mostly because it occupies your mind, so that it can’t snowball with negative thinking patterns, but at the same time does not require so much attention as to stress you out with decision making or frustration.

Scooby in AK is slang for the little bits of charred weed that suck through the pipe into your mouth at the end of a bowl. The origin being of course, scooby snacks.

lol I've heard it called that.. but being in 2nd/3rd grade I think it related more with the cartoon somehow. :ROFLMAO:
